Gigorb Privacy Policy

Gigorb Privacy Policy · Updated 3 October 2026

This policy describes the information used by the Gigorb website and mobile apps. Gigorb connects adult clients with freelancers, creative talent and event professionals. You can browse public listings without creating an account.

Information you provide

  • Your account: name, email, password credentials, chosen country, currency, language, time zone and adult-account confirmation. Optional authenticator setup adds security credentials.
  • Your professional presence: profiles, skills, languages, experience, services, prices, availability, portfolios and the images, audio, video or documents you choose to upload.
  • Your work: gigs, proposals, invitations, quotes, agreements, booking details, event contacts and locations, project requirements, private messages, deliveries, reviews and support or dispute records.
  • Your preferences: saved services, collections, follows, notification choices and any interests you select for personalized recommendations.

Information used when you visit

Our hosting, network and security services receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser or device information. We use session identifiers to keep you signed in, device descriptions to help you review sign-ins, and operational diagnostics to investigate failures and abuse. A coarse country supplied by the network may suggest a search location; you can change it at any time.

The apps do not collect background GPS location or your address book. Event addresses and contacts are supplied deliberately for a booking. Avoid putting a private home address in a public profile or service description.

Why we use information

We use this information to operate accounts and discovery, connect clients and talent, preserve agreed work, deliver messages and files, manage availability, provide support, investigate reports, protect accounts, and maintain reliable services. If payments become available for your booking, the payment provider handles checkout and onboarding; Gigorb records transaction references and booking amounts, not raw card numbers or card security codes.

Public and private information

Published profiles, services, gigs, public portfolios and eligible published reviews can be seen by visitors and search engines. Public membership of a band or organization is controlled separately. Publishing content makes it available to others who may save or share it.

Private conversations, proposals, booking materials and files are limited to the relevant participants and authorized operational roles. Team membership and shared collections can give other members access to information you deliberately share. Support and dispute handling may preserve relevant agreements, messages and files as evidence.

Service providers

Gigorb uses hosting and Cloudflare network/object-storage services; Authvio for linked sign-in, verification and account standing; Bolrach Pay for enabled payment processing; Bolrach Guard for bot protection; Bolrach Send for account and notification email; Bolrach Stream for video processing and playback; and the Bolrach notification service with Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for enabled Android device alerts. These services receive the data needed for their functions, such as an email address and message for email delivery, an uploaded video for encoding, or a device registration token for push delivery. Internet delivery and service processing may involve countries other than your own.

Optional AI drafting

When available, the AI drafting assistant sends only the text you choose to enter to OpenAI after you select the consent checkbox. It does not automatically retrieve your messages, booking files or profile. Avoid entering credentials, payment details or private information about other people. Generated text is a draft for your review and is never automatically published or submitted. Gigorb does not store the prompt or generated draft; it stores the request identifier, draft type, outcome and token counts for up to 90 days to enforce usage limits and investigate reliability. These usage records are included in your account export and removed during account erasure. OpenAI processing is separate from Gigorb’s retention of usage records.

Recommendations and notification choices

Personalization is optional and off by default. When you enable it, your selected interests and category-level searches, views and saves help order eligible results. Private messages are not used to rank recommendations. You can disable personalization and clear its history in Settings. Country coverage still applies when personalization is enabled.

Choose email and device-alert preferences in Notifications. Device alerts require a deliberate opt-in and supported platform configuration. Booking reminders and conversation activity indicators have separate controls. Security messages needed for sign-in, verification or account recovery are separate from optional updates.

Referral invitations

An optional invitation code at sign-up records who referred your account. The referrer sees only a count of active verified sign-ups, not your name, contact details or booking activity. Referrals currently offer no monetary reward. You can remove your own attribution in Invite a friend. Disabling a link prevents new use; account erasure removes its referral links and attributions. Gigorb does not access your contacts or send referral invitations for you.

Device permissions and local storage

The apps request camera, microphone or photo/file access when you choose to capture or upload media. You can decline permissions and manage them in your device settings. Device notification permission is optional. Gigorb does not require these permissions to browse.

The website uses a secure session cookie for authentication and remembers some interface choices. Native sessions use the device’s protected credential storage. Private read-only app caches expire after 24 hours and are cleared when you sign out or change accounts. Files or exports you save separately remain under your control.

Retention and deletion

Account and marketplace records are kept while needed to provide your account, shared work and support. The sign-in history screen shows the most recent 90 days. Sign-in sessions normally expire after seven days. Email sign-in codes expire after ten minutes; expired challenge records are removed by a bounded cleanup process after one day.

You can request account deletion on the web or from the app’s account controls. The process checks account ownership, signs out sessions, withdraws public listings and queues removal of personal account data and eligible stored files. Keep the private receipt to check progress after signing out.

Deletion can require additional review for unresolved bookings, payments, disputes, reported content, shared-work records, video-provider copies or backups. A request is not marked complete while identified retention work remains. The receipt identifies outstanding categories; Support can help with questions about your request. Copies independently saved by other participants are outside your account’s deletion process.

Your controls and contact

Edit your account and profiles, pause services, manage collections and notifications, revoke sessions, clear recommendation history, or download your account records through Settings. Use Gigorb Support for privacy inquiries or help exercising rights that apply in your location. If you cannot sign in, use account recovery from the sign-in page. A deletion receipt can be checked without signing in.

Age and policy changes

Gigorb accounts are currently for adults aged 18 and over. Report an account or content concern through Support. We update this page when the service’s data practices change; the date above identifies this version.
